"A good and fair point. Love is both the emotion you feel and express as well as the actions you take because of it."

A good and fair point? I'm making the point that you are being vague about what 'love' is and what its purpose or essence is. How do we express or share love when we are given no hints that help our intuitions about it?

"Not all views of pickup/seduction are laden in promiscuity. Some people choose to be promiscuous, polyamorous, “open-relationship” people, and a great number of folks get into this so that they can have ONE girlfriend. There is no hard and fast rule in any of the “Community” I’ve seen that mandates you must be promiscuous."

I'm not referring to other views. I'm referring to YOUR view that religion and pick-up are not mutually exclusive, when they clearly are. And I think you're too busy 'zealously loving' through the medium of sex for you to reflect the fact that you just want one girlfriend, no?

"Yes, enthusiasm should be present and consistency does abound. If I were gay, and a man wanted sex and I found him appealing, I’m sure it would happen. The same is true if I were surrounded by the elderly. I’m not being zealous about the sharing of sex, I’m zealous about the sharing of love. Sex is a method, a way, an act that can display, demonstrate and convey that love."

If sex is just an act, then having sex with a sexless, elderly lady would be no problem. She needs the sex more than the hot girl--there is plenty of sex to go around for the hot girl. If you truly 'loved' then having sex with an elderly woman should be no problem for you as you are giving her 'value'. Same goes with the gay guy. If sex is a way to demonstrate love, and you only have sex with hot girls, then your sexual love is discriminatory. If you can't bear to share your love through sex with one girl and be indiscriminate in your sexual love, shouldn't you you go all the way? If not, why aren't you going all the way? You have a heart, correct? Shouldn't your heart be in a better position to dictate who or what to love than your cock?

"There are a bevy of religions, philosophies and methodologies which intertwine sex-as-love to safeguard against intrusions onto their morals. (ie some religions don’t want you having sex before marriage, so they demonize it). I’ve chosen to look past the idea that one teaching is “more perfect” than the others, and discover for myself what I believe."

If you think like this, then why bother bringing up religion in the first place? You've just admitted here that religion will always be at odds with your own views of pick-up.
